The Panic of 1893 provided a financial crisis that contributed to the economic recession. https://eh.net/encyclopedia/the-depression-of-1893/ Money is the root of all evil its been said. Or we have all heard the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. We have no happy medium not in 1893 or now in 2016. The value of a dollar bill is not what is used to be. Why is it that money has little value but the product or service we buy costs more that the actual money we use to pay for it?
It is interesting to me that as our cost of living goes up, we raise wages only to have the cost of living go up again. Value , has that changed?
